Installation of basement siding
The assembly technology of vinyl basement siding is almost the same as that of traditional vinyl basement siding. The panel installation also starts from bottom to top. Due to the design characteristics of the basement side panels, the same wood panels are used for the beginning (fixing the lower edge of the first row of panels) and decoration (fixing the upper edge of the last row of panels), which is why it is called the start veneer. For surface treatment, profiles are allowed. In this case, in order to make the fastening more reliable, it is best to place a finishing strip on the upper edge of the last row of the panel.
Structurally, the difference between vinyl base siding and ordinary vinyl siding is only the lock, which can more reliably fix the lower edge of the panel. Buying longer panels can avoid vertical connection of panels.
After installing all the rows, the wall will show a complete appearance. From the sum of the walls of the house, you need to subtract the sum of the doors and windows and add 11% for overlap and cutting; if the structure is complex, add another 16%. Count the number of corners and consider their height.

Divide the length of each wall by the length of the panel and calculate the number of profiles, taking into account the height of the panel connection. While considering the ebb and flow of the tide, find the perimeter of the basement of the house. In this case, please consider the embedded depth of the doors and windows in order to choose the correct width of the near window strip.
Find the total length of the sun visor and multiply it by the width of the sun visor. Find the total length of the cornice and divide it by the length of the glass strip near the window (3.6).
You will need tools, fasteners and slats to level the walls.
Hammer, tape measure, level, fine-tooth metal hacksaw, metal scissors, chalk, square, electric saw, hole punch (for drilling holes in fasteners). Designed to be installed horizontally on the basement and walls of buildings, as well as curved installations (arched, tripod).
For sealing horizontal panel installation. The decorative strip can also be used to fix the first panel.
It is used to cut the openings of doors and windows vertically on the base of the wall along the slope line with the roof of the mountain. Used for horizontal connection of basement side panels. The shape allows the panel to be lengthened hermetically. In addition, the shape profile can be used in the filing of the cornice.
Cover the end of the panel and keep it at the outer or inner corners. In addition to standard applications, inner corners can also be used at the junction of the vertical wall of the gable and the bottom of the cantilevered roof.
The special contours used to trim windows and door openings partially or fully (depending on the depth of the window) cover the slope. It can also be used as a wind deflector or drain rod. It is recommended to use self-tapping screws, aluminum, galvanized steel or other anti-corrosion nails for fixing. Fasteners must fit at least 21 in the frame or crate. The length of the nail must be at least 4 cm, the length of the screw must be at least 2 cm, and the diameter of the head of the nail must be at least 8 mm. The leg diameter of the nail is 3 mm. When installing basement side panels, the distance between screws (nails) should not exceed 41 cm.
Therefore, the panel should not be fastened too firmly, leaving a gap of about 2 between the screw head (nail) and the panel surface.
To install basement siding, use special holes (perforations).
In the middle of the perforation and perpendicular to the surface of the panel.
Do not drive nails into the basement siding, as this may limit thermal expansion and contraction. The basement siding shall be connected to the sheath on any wall surface. This will provide a ventilated gap to remove water vapor, in winter, it will save heating, and in summer, it will greatly weaken the heating of the house. The lathe can be used in both new and old buildings. Careful preparation of the base is the key to high-quality installation of basement wall panels. The smoother the crate, the better the effect. It is placed vertically on the foundation and the wall. You can use metal profiles 61/28 or dry wooden slats 2.5 51 (impregnated with a special flame retardant), and the distance between each other and the corners is 31-41 cm. For insulation (optional), a non-combustible insulation material can be placed between the wall and the slats. It is very important to leave a 1.5-2 gap between the insulation material and the basement panel to generate ventilation. You should draw a straight line before starting to install the first horizontal row of the basement siding. Hit a small nail at the bottom of the corner house. Tie the chalk line to the nail, then pull it to the other corner, and then tighten it.

Use a level close to the middle wall to read and install the wires horizontally.

Click the chalk line and draw a baseline to set the start/end bar.
Leave a temperature difference of 5-11 between the end of the start finishing strip and the outer corner. Prospect Park Start installing the landing gear bar at 16 cm from the corner of the house. The outer and inner corners must be fixed at a distance of 5 from the upper edge of the wall, and the lower part should be 5 from the starting strip (Figure 4). If the height of the house is greater than the length of a corner, you need to connect the corners like this-cut 2.5 cm of the installation surface from the lower corner of the connection, and then overlap the upper corner of the lower corner (overlap by 2.5 cm) and fix it (Figure 5).
The casting bar is installed at the end of the base/base installation (when the base/base is moved to the wall) and used as a drain bar. A brick should be placed under the thin edge of the ebb to lean from the wall. Attach the finishing tape to the block and insert the thin edge of the unloading tape into it.
First install the window bars on the sides of the windows and doors. Then, install the near-window planks on the upper and lower parts of the window or door opening so that the edge of the plank protrudes equal to the width of the near-window planks installed on the side. First, it must be cut on the upper and lower boards on both sides of the fold. When installing, fold the notched part of the board down onto the side board (picture. The profile is similar to the installation of inner and outer corners. Before installing the first base panel, you need to count the number of panels placed along the length of the wall. For this reason, the length of the wall must be subtracted from the thickness of the two outer corners and the two horizontal thermal gaps, and then divided by the length of the ordinary panel. The remaining part should be at least 31 cm. Basement side panels are installed from the back of the house. Insert the bottom edge of the panel into the start/end strip and fix it from the middle of the panel toward the edge (do not pull the panel). After fixing, the panel should be suspended without tension. Next row: The panel is inserted from above into another panel-the tenon in the groove.
Avoid adding pedestals below and above the windows.
Install the decorative strip and install the upper row of the panel.
Install the decorative strip horizontally on the wall near the eaves of the house. Cut the side plate of the base to the desired height and reduce it by 6 (compression allowance). Punch out the top edge of the panel (they should be on the front). The panel needs to be firmly fixed on the decorative strip. Slide the top flange into the finishing bar (Figure 7). When installing the first row of panels under the gable, please connect the profile to the side wall close to the gable. Cut the base panel to the desired angle and insert it into the profile (Figure 8). If the roof has a protruding canopy, the inner corners can be used to connect the first row of gable panels to the panel covering the lower part of the canopy (Figure.
We attach the windshield (the strip near the window) to the bottom of the sun visor. Then on the outside of the sun visor, fix the veneer at a distance from the edge 26, and then insert the thin part of the windshield into it. (Figure 11).

You already know in advance where external objects (lighting equipment, sinks, blinds, etc.) will be connected, and then install additional slats at these locations.
Your house always looks elegant and needs to be flushed with a hose when it is dirty. If the dirt is heavy, use a soft brush or soft cloth.
When washing, do not leave the cleaning product on the base wall for more than 11 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with water.
It is also possible to install basement wall panels on the outer and inner corners of the building without installing accessories. Use a building blower to heat the curved panel until the panel is easily bent. With the help of metal corners, the bent position is fixed until the panel is completely cooled. The basement siding can then be connected to the wall.

It is customary to use profiles, but use silicone and acrylic sealants, liquid nails, etc., which are used as bonding elements when connecting panels, allowing you to create a seamless wall appearance. (Figure 5-6. The temperature of using silicone resin shall not be lower than +21. The bonding surface must be clean and dry.
